About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the promotion and representation of us. Engage health care professionals in face-to-face discussions to promote the pharmacy and awareness/understanding of our business and community offerings. We are looking for a candidate who is assertive, energetic, and want to grow with us.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients.
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders.
- Process prescriptions using computer software.
- Label and record dosage information.
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies.
- Prescription data entry.
- Prescriber calls and patient medication compliance calls.
- Maintaining back-end pharmacy compliance records.
- Assist in development of the business.
Qualifications: Previous experience in pharmacy - required:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
