Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant- PRN - Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

We are now Hiring a  PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for our in-house rehab program at Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehab.

• Located at 80 Fern Dr, Torrington, CT 06790

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

Skills:

• Must have a valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing
• Long term care experience preferred
• Proven work experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
