Community Therapy Services, a division of The Stepping Stones Group, is hiring immediately for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in San Fernando Valley, CA and the surrounding areas where you can provide state of the art services to children that help us in Transforming Lives Together!
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour

Position Overview:
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supports a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) in implementing therapy services to meet client goals in home/community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute treatment plans, assess client progress, and adapt interventions as directed by OTR.
Conduct hands-on therapy for activities of daily living (play, sensory-motor, feeding).
Collect data, document progress, and maintain client confidentiality.
Educate caregivers on adaptive skills and techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and recommend adaptive equipment.
Skills and Requirements:
Accredited COTA program graduate with California licensure.
2+ years' experience with children (ages 0-5) with developmental delays preferred.
Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
Reliable transportation and current auto insurance required.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Requires travel to clients, ability to work in varied home settings, and perform physical tasks (kneeling, sitting on the floor).
Limitations of COTA Role:
COTAs cannot independently modify treatment plans, discharge clients, or interpret client status without OTR supervision.
