Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Community Autism Services

We are hiring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in San Fernando Valley, CA, to provide innovative therapy services to children.

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
Earn $250+ per Behavioral or Mental Health hire through our referral program.

Position Overview: COTAs support Licensed Occupational Therapists (OTRs) in delivering therapy services in home/community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute treatment plans and assess client progress.
• Conduct hands-on therapy for daily living activities.
• Document progress and maintain client confidentiality.
• Educate caregivers and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited COTA program with California licensure.
• 2+ years of experience with children (ages 0-5) preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.

Working Conditions: Requires travel to clients and performing physical tasks in varied home settings.

Limitations: COTAs cannot independently modify treatment plans or discharge clients without OTR supervision.
