Are you a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with a desire to impact the lives of the older adult population? If so, our Rehab Team at CopperWood at Prairie Trail in Ankeny, Iowa is seeking its next employee-owner team member.

You will play a crucial role in assisting licensed occupational therapists in delivering exceptional care to our patients. You will work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, providing top-notch services to help patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to evaluate, plan, and implement occupational therapy programs tailored to meet the needs of individual patients.

CopperWood Senior Living is a beautiful, brand new assisted living and memory care community opening 6/1/2024. 

Responsibilities

As a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), you will work closely with the Occupational Therapist to establish appropriate goals and creatively execute the treatment plans. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be required to maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation. More importantly, you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of an accredited school for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Hold a valid state license.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• It’s great to have had acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required!
