Qualifications include:

Completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program

Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida

Preferred prior experience in Occupational Therapy

Professional demeanor and strong administrative skills

Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and safety precautions

Ability to build effective relationships with patients and staff

Emotional stability to handle demands of the role

Confidentiality maintenance

Knowledge of Medicare and reimbursement preferred
