What you will be doing:

• Help patients improve their health and regain their independence.
• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Address the whole patient and recognize them as individuals.
• Execute a program to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities.
• Adapt to the needs of patients and find joy in diverse work settings.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Prioritize patient care and provide high-quality service in a compassionate environment.

Experience you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA and ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
