About the Job
Summary: Our COTA provides in-home therapy for older adults on an ongoing basis in an effort to help regain or maintain their abilities to remain independent with the ADLs and IADLs, range of motion, strength and interventions established by a treatment plan from the OT/L. This is a Mon-Fri daylight (7:30am-4:00pm) position with no evenings or weekends! Mileage reimbursement is provided at the federal rate.

Required Education: Successful OTA/L program completion approved by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Required Experience: Minimum of one year working with the frail or elder population.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Current OTA licensure issued by the state of PA.
- Valid PA Drivers License

- Empathetic and compassionate attitude in caring for the elderly.

- Routine work involving the personal care and program activities of participants
- Neat appearance
- Proven record of excellent attendance
- Good organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and be flexible
