Position Summary:
The COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, following applicable laws and standards.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:

NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal optional

Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program

Active state registration/licensure required

One year of post-acute care experience preferred

CPR certification required upon hire

Specific Job Requirements:

Participate in community health projects

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email

Communicate effectively with patients and families

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies

Exhibit professionalism and integrity

Essential Functions:

Follow treatment plans and chart appropriately

Provide excellent customer service

Assist in patient evacuation and demonstrate regular attendance

Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
