Summary:

A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care activities under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. The COTA collaborates with clinical associates to ensure quality, cost-effective care and is accountable to the Administrative Team.

Responsibilities:

Report to the department manager with clinical supervision from a licensed occupational therapist.

Utilize and supervise volunteers, students, and support staff in occupational therapy services.

Interpret physician orders and ensure safe, confidential care while promoting a positive work environment.

Demonstrate knowledge of occupational therapy principles and perform technical skills competently.

Exhibit professional communication and management skills, and be open to additional responsibilities.

Requirements:

Associate Degree

OTA License in the state of employment

BLS certification

Work Type: Full Time
