Certified Nursing Assistant Renal/Neuro Telemetry - NCG Associates

NCG Associates is a reputable healthcare staffing company known for its exceptional onboarding and recruitment services. We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with experience in Renal/Neuro Telemetry to join our team. As a CNA in the Renal/Neuro Telemetry unit at NCG Associates, you will work closely with the nursing team to provide personalized care to patients with renal and neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels
• Help transfer and transport patients safely
• Support patients in maintaining mobility and assist with ambulation
• Assist with feeding and medication administration under the direction of the nursing team
• Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date records
• Respond to patient calls and requests promptly
• Collaborate with the nursing team to provide holistic and individualized care to patients
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Prior experience in a Renal/Neuro Telemetry unit is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of renal and neurology nursing principles and practices
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Physical endurance and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

Benefits

Class/Area: Local CNA

Pay Rate: $684 - $756 weekly depending on experience

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 14

Hours per Week: 36

Shift and Time: 12hr Nights; 1845-0715

Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend

On-call Requirements: None Holidays

Requirements: Required based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years LTC / Skilled Nursing/ Rehab experience

Experience Preferred: 1 Year Acute Care Exp.

License Required: KS CNA License Certificates Required: BLS
