Certified Nursing Assistant Ortho/Spine/Med/Surg - NCG Associates

NCG Associates, a reputable healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with experience in Ortho/Spine/Med-Surg to join our team. As a CNA specializing in Ortho/Spine/Med-Surg at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to patients undergoing orthopedic and medical-surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide comfort and emotional support to patients during their stay
• Assist in the pre- and post-operative care for orthopedic and medical-surgical patients
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Assist with mobility and range of motion exercises
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Adhere to infection control protocols and other hospital policies

Requirements

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Ortho/Spine/Med-Surg
• Knowledge of orthopedic and medical-surgical nursing principles and practices
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical endurance and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Pay Rate: $684 - $756 weekly based on experience

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 14

Hours per Week: 36

Shift and Time: 12hr Nights; 1845-0715

Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend

On-call Requirements: None

Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years LTC / Skilled Nursing/ Rehab experience

Experience Preferred: 1 Year Acute Care Exp.

License Required: KS CNA License

Certificates Required: BLS
