Certified Nursing Assistants are Trained professionals who help residents with healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Our CNAs actively monitor and interact with residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Most hospitals and facilities don't provide this level of service and watchfulness.

If you choose to work at CHC, you will Provide Resident Personal care functions (bathing, skincare, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing & undressing). Assists in turning and positioning residents. Conduct sensory stimulation programs, as delineated in the Individual Patient Plan (IPP) and Individual Education Plan (IEP). Assist with physical therapy programs as dictated by the Physical Therapist. Completes resident's active treatment and documents results. Use proper transfer techniques when transferring residents per policy. Demonstrate appropriate knowledge for the safe use of medical equipment. Help keep residents' rooms and equipment clean and supplied. Make and change beds. Transports residents, supplies, and equipment as needed. Assists nurses and other personnel as required.
