Position Overview:
As a CNA, you’ll bring essential skills and compassionate care to our residents with specialized needs including therapeutic support, neuro and dementia care, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease management, and wound care. Your role is crucial in ensuring the well-being, dignity, and comfort of each resident.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in line with Resident Care Policies and Procedures, maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.
• Work under the direction of the Charge Nurse as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming as outlined in their individualized Care Plan.
• Ensure residents follow their Care Plan, including scheduled out-of-bed times.
• Interact supportively and respectfully with residents, family members, coworkers, and clinical staff.
• Complete additional tasks as directed to provide the best care experience for residents.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required, with completion of a state-approved training program and examination.
• Must provide certification documentation upon application.
Job Details:
• Employment Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
• New Competitive Pay Rates: $17.50 - $22.83 per hour
• Physical Setting: Long-term care, Nursing home
Shifts & Schedule:
• Standard Shifts: Day, Evening, Night
• Weekly Schedule: Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends as assigned
Required Certification:
• Active CNA certification
