As a CNA at Mennonite village, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents through compassionate care and professionalism. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL), monitoring their health status, maintaining accurate documentation, promoting participation in activities, and ensuring safety during care procedures.

What We're Looking For:
- Understanding of and commitment to resident rights and dignity.
- Valid CNA certification in Oregon within first 120 days of employment.
- CPR/AED required within first 120 days of employment.
- Ability to accurately document activities of daily living.
- Ability to work under time pressure and stress.
- Compassionate bedside manner and empathy toward residents.
- Exhibit patience, tact, and willingness to handle challenging situations.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Adhere to resident's care plan.
- Provide hygiene and general care of resident's skin, nails, hair, eyes, ears, mouth, and face.
- Assist resident in performing activities of daily living (ADLs) following care plan.
- Support residents with mobility, positioning, and transferring.
- Monitor and document residents' fluid and nutritional intake.
- Offer emotional support and validation for residents.
- Assists with dressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming as needed.
- Measure and document residents' vital signs and weight.
- Report changes in a resident's condition to nurse and supervisor.
- Maintains residents' dignity by providing privacy and confidentiality.
- Communicate observations and pertinent information to the licensed nurse.
- Encourages and promotes resident participation in activities.
- Transfer residents to and from activity programs.
- Safely operate and maintain equipment such as Hoyer lifts and gait belts for resident transfers.
- Responds to call lights promptly and ensures that call light is within resident's reach.
- Provides accurate documentation reflecting the daily care provided to the resident.
