Med Plus Staffing is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team to work in Verona and surrounding areas. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide personal and/or nursing care to patients and assist them in daily activities such as bathing, eating, and toileting.

Responsibilities:

• Safely provide compassionate, individualized patient care as the RN/LPN directs according to policy and procedure.  
• Respond directly to patient requests and appropriately communicate needs. 
• Complete and record patient vital signs, weight checks, intake & output, blood glucose, urine tests, and specimen collections.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including but not limited to bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, nail care, hair care, dressing, and toileting. 
• Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and transfers. 
• Monitor the health and well-being of patients while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, co-workers, and yourself.  
• Communicate patient information with the care team during and between shifts.

Qualifications:

• You have strong clinical skills and can react decisively in emergencies.
• You have impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
• Both experienced and newly Certified Nursing Assistants are encouraged to apply.

The Following Credentials Are Required:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification
• Valid TB Testing Documentation
• Current Physical Examination
