Job Responsibilities
- Providing excellent nursing care to post-acute residents in areas nearby
- Supporting residents with basic activities of daily living (ADLs) like eating, personal hygiene, and grooming
- Protecting resident health and safety by supporting a clean, sanitary, and hazard-free environment
- Assisting with the transportation and movement of residents around the facility, as needed
- Documenting and reporting resident vital signs and updating the nursing team on the physical and mental conditions of residents
- Being accountable to follow and adhere to care plans for residents and all applicable policies, rules, and regulations
- Engaging with residents in ways that build relationships based on a sense of security and trust
- Communicating between, and among, staff, residents, and family members in ways that support transparency and the comfort of residents
Qualifications and Skills
- Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing care procedures and clinical terminology
- Detail-oriented and able to effectively communicate with medical professionals, residents, and family members
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
