A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Somerset PA 15501. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Nurse Aide Compensation:

• The pay for this position is $25 per hour.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Nurse Aide Highlights:

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
• The required availability for this position is all shift float, full time, every other weekend & holidays

Nurse Aide Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, non-professional nursing care to ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients/residents in a hospital infirmary, long-term care unit, or domiciliary care unit.
• Assist patients/residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, and mobility.
• Support prescribed rehabilitative and recreational activities for patients/residents both individually and in group settings.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient/resident quarters.
• Document and report changes in patient/resident conditions to licensed professionals.
• Perform duties in accordance with established rules, regulations, and under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
• Participate in in-service and formal training to maintain competency in non-professional nursing care procedures.

Nurse Aide Requirements:

• Minimum Qualifications:
• Six (6) months of experience as an Aide Trainee OR one (1) year of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients/residents.
• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Must be registered and certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health as having met competency requirements for performing nurse aide work in a Long-Term Care Unit.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a long-term care facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
