Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Overview:

• The facility serves honorably discharged veterans, veterans spouses/widows, and Gold-Star parents.
• Long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, and end-of-life/hospice care
• Approach duties with a positive attitude and constructively support open communication, dedication and compassion.
• Assist with lifts and transfers
• Take vital signs
• Perform CPR and standard first aid
• Assist with meal feeding
• Makes beds, cleans resident's rooms & maintains cleanliness and comfort of residents
• Cleans work areas & equipment, walls &/or floors.
• Escorts residents on & off grounds to scheduled appointments & activities.
• Participates with resident in recreational activities.
• Communicates with residents to establish & maintain friendly & relaxed atmosphere.
• Attends meetings & in-service training sessions pertaining to client/resident car

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Qualifications

• Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading,
  writing & speaking common English vocabulary.
• Must be listed on Ohio Nurse Aide Registry - Or equivalent of Minimum Class
  Qualifications for Employment noted above
• CPR from AHA or ARC
