Job Description:

• Assisting mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed patients, working under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
• Assisting with daily living activities.
• Leading patients in educational and recreational activities.
• Accompanying patients to and from examinations and treatments.
• Restraining violent patients.
• Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
• Reminding patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
• Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
• Staying up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.

Requirement:

• Valid BLS/ ACLS and license.

 Remarks:

• The assignment duration will be 13 weeks with the possibility of an extension.
• The facility consists of patients with sensitive behavioral challenges and has a Zero-Violence Tolerance Policy.
• CPI 3rd Edition training mandatory (If the candidate already has the training completed can submit the certificate else it will be conducted by us).
