About the Job
North Shore Associates in Gynecology and Obstetrics is expanding and seeking an additional full-time Certified Nurse Midwife!
About the Practice
Currently, we are a group of six certified nurse midwives (5.25 FTE). Our practice is seeking another midwife to join our group. Ideally, this would be a 1.0 FTE position. We see patients in two office locations (Wilmette and Glenview) and attend births at North Shore Hospital in Evanston. The hospital environment is very supportive and has had a strong midwifery presence for over thirty years. We are dedicated advocates of physiological birth for both low-risk and high-risk patients. We have a special focus on VBAC deliveries (success rate of 92% in 2022) and unmedicated birth (63% in 2022). We have a strong emphasis on promoting vaginal birth with an overall Cesarean Delivery Rate of 7% in 2022. We are typically awarded the ACNM Triple Aim Award based on benchmarking statistics every year. We have collaborative relationships with our physician colleagues.
