Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Morehead City, NC. Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.

Position Highlights:

• Join an established and successful practice that has served the Crystal Coast area for over 40 years
• Office locations in Morehead City and Swansboro
• Practice team consists of 6 OB/GYN physicians, 6 nurse practitioners, 2 certified nurse midwives, and 1 physician assistant
• Approximately 44 hours per week divided between the office and hospital 
• Clinic patient volume:20-25 per day
• 3 hospital shifts per week
• Delivering hospital: Carteret Health Care Hospital

Requirements:

• AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife 
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
• Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
• Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
• CPR and NALS Certification
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred
