Job Summary: The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the Critical Care Unit provides essential patient care in a 24-bed unit with 24-hour intensivist coverage. This full-time position (72 hours biweekly) involves 12-hour night shifts (6pm-6am) and requires working every third weekend. The role includes a comprehensive orientation program, ongoing support from dynamic preceptors, and leadership presence on every shift.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and report patient condition changes.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
• Assist in patient positioning, transfers, and equipment maintenance.
• Support new personnel orientation and respond to emergency situations.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of a certified nurse aide course, CPR certification, and Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide Certification or LPN license required. Previous CNA experience preferred.
