CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE - Salina Regional Health Center

• POSITION SUMMARY
  • Position Summary:
    • Provides quality care by performing tasks associated with medication administration, including patient vital signs, calculation of medication dosages, and stocking of the medication cart. Assists with providing a safe, comforting, and calm environment for the resident which includes observation and reporting of resident needs.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Education
    • High school graduate or GED
    • Completion of a certified medication aide training course
  • Minimum Experience
    • One year nurse assisting or med aide experience preferred
  • Required Registration/License/Certification
    • Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
    • Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
