NaphCare is hiring an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) just like you to join our team at the Forsyth Law Reinforcement Detention Center facility located in Winston-Salem, NC. Full Time shifts are now available! Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and will be determined by site leadership.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. Responsibilities for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):

• Provide routine clinical tasks
• Perform routine blood drawing procedures
• Take and document vital signs, height and weight, assist with PPDs and EKGs
• Assist with examinations and/or treatments
• Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation and dressing changes

Qualifications for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):

• STATE or National Certification is required for Certified Medical Assistants. 
• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate 
• A valid CPR card
• A minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred. 
• Office Lab Assistant License (For Nevada only.)
