We're Searching For:
- A Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) with an active Washington State license (National certifications are welcome with appropriate WA State credentialing).
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; Epic experience is a plus.
- A current Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR certification.
Position Details:
- Full-time availability with 5 positions from 7:45 am - 5:15 pm and one weekend shift, Sat/Sun 8 am - 7 pm.
- Competitive wage ranging from $19.73/hr to $33.00/hr, experience-dependent, with shift differentials of $2.10/hr for evenings, $3/hr for nights, and $2.25/hr for weekends.
- Comprehensive benefits, including relocation assistance up to $5K and a sign-on bonus up to $5K.
Your Role:
- Support providers and healthcare team members with a variety of patient care tasks.
- Manage patient workflow with duties including, but not limited to, injections, EKGs, ear lavage, blood draws, vital signs assessment, and patient preparation.
- Ensure efficient patient visits and communicate schedule changes impacting patient flow.

Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and treatment
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
- Perform basic laboratory tests
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare provider
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Provide medical administrative support, including billing and coding
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with basic life support procedures
- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Experience with X-ray procedures is a plus
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail to accurately record patient information and perform tasks correctly
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of coding and billing procedures for insurance purposes
- Understanding of inhale techniques for administering medication to patients
- Commitment to providing excellent patient service and maintaining patient confidentiality
