NaphCare is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) just like you to join our team at the Sarasota County Jail located in Sarasota, FL. We currently have a Full Time position available! Pay rates range per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

Responsibilities for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):

• Provide routine clinical tasks
• Perform routine blood drawing procedures
• Take and document vital signs, height and weight, assist with PPDs and EKGs
• Assist with examinations and/or treatments
• Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation and dressing changes

Qualifications for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):

• STATE or National Certification is required for Certified Medical Assistants. 
• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate 
• A valid CPR card
• Office Lab Assistant License (For Nevada only.)
