Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to manage customer flow and assist providers in delivering top-notch care. Our diverse clientele spans all age groups, from infants to geriatrics, requiring individualized attention and care. This role focuses on collaborative, supportive, and delegated tasks as outlined in the Blaze Health Medical Assistant scope of practice.
Clinical Care Responsibilities
- Perform clinical and clerical tasks to manage customer flow.
- Conduct standard rooming processes, immunizations, injections, and medication administration as directed by the provider.
- Perform laboratory specimen collection as needed.
- Provide Telemetryphone support.
- Facilitate communication between customers and providers.
- Assist with prescription refills.
- Perform x-ray duties (if certified).
- Conduct phlebotomy and clinic laboratory tests.
Clinic Support Responsibilities
- Provide front desk/check-in support.
- Order and stock supplies.
- Assist with prior authorizations.
- Maintain skill proficiency and upgrade skills as required.
- Accept other duties as assigned to achieve organizational goals.
Compliance and Professionalism
- Adhere to Corporate Code of Conduct.
- Protect customer and team member privacy.
- Report violations or areas of concern to the supervisor or Corporate Compliance Officer.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, accrediting, and procedural requirements.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES or CAAHEP).
- High School graduate or equivalent (GED).
- Participation in a registration program by a national health services organization, such as American Medical Technologists, and passing the credentialing exam (CMA or RMA).
- Medical Assistant certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting.
