Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Lyle Health

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant in the Elwood, NY area to work at a Multi-Specialty office in the area. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments. We are looking for candidates available on on a temporary to permanent basis.

*Hours: *

*2x16 hour shifts *

*1x 6 hour shift *

Opportunies for full time, and weekend work only.

*Responsibilities:*
* Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
* Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
* Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
* Escort patients to exam rooms
* Write out prescriptions for physical therapy, tests, etc.
* Prepare patient charts
* Prepare rooms for patient examinations
* Sterilize & clean instruments
* Take inventory of medical materials and supplies

​*Qualifications:*
* 2 years of experience working as Medical Assistant
* Must have a Medical Assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited school
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Experience:
* EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
* Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
* BLS Certification (Required)
* Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

Ability to Commute:
