Sanitas is excited to announce an opening for a Full-Time Medical Assistant Certified Clinical Care Assistant at our Memphis - Germantown facility in Germantown, TN. In this vital role, you’ll be integral to patient registration, examination, treatment, and overall management, focusing on health risk and chronic disease management under the supervision of a physician or provider.

Responsibilities:

• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and document information accurately.
• Assist with daily patient flow and provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Perform EKGs, administer vaccines and medications, and assist in various procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure medical equipment is functional.
• Comply with infection control regulations and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Log procedures and follow up on missing medical records.
• Flexibility for rotating weekends, holidays, and shifts is essential.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant; High School or Technical School education required.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Phlebotomy certification and experience with electronic medical records systems (eCW) are a plus
• Must have at least one year of pediatric experience.

Physical Demands:

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, along with specific vision abilities and exposure to varying environmental conditions.
