Certified Medical Assistant ( BILINGUAL) - New Century Home Care LLC

We are actively seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our administrative team.

The Medical Assistant is a multi-skilled member of the New Century team who performs administrative and clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.

• Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information as needed.

•  Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers.

•  Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments.

• Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.

• Administer 2 Step PPDs.

•  Keep an accurate inventory of medical supplies and medications.

•  Maintains confidential information of the work place according to the policies and procedures of the institution and HIPAA regulations.

• Demonstrates the ability to organize and plan daily work with completion requirements, answering multi-line telephone calls.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant.

• Must be fluent in English and Spanish

• Must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program.

• Must have passed the examination to be certified also.
