Responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, documentation and implementation. Also may participate in the administrative duties within the facility once properly trained, as well as other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:Documents assessments and instructions accurately. Consistently demonstrates safe and accurate technical skills. Demonstrates competency in the performance of all procedures routinely performed in the office. Triage of patients is accurate and complies with the instructions of provider. Assessments of patients are accurate, consistently performed, and efficiently completed. Routinely demonstrates proper technique when operating office equipment. Demonstrates competency in providing quality patient care. Accurately follows office procedures and provider instructions. All communication with patients, providers, staff members and the public are accurate, courteous and professional Routinely performs all nursing duties in a clean and safe manner. Handles specimens using proper technique. Correctly labels and processes specimens. Insures proper preparation of specimens for lab courier transfer to Labial other duties as assigned are performed properly and professionally. This may include administrative activities once proper training has occurred.

Completion of a clinical/clerical externship associated with a certified medical assistant program is required. Minimum of two (2) years Clinical Medical Assistant experience, preferably in a physician medical practice. Have the ability to to appropriately respond to and withstand crisis situations.
