About the Job

A multidisciplinary private practice in Wilmington, NC, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team in a new outpatient IR center opening in May 2024. This full-time position involves providing administrative support to ensure efficient operations and assisting with patient care management.

Responsibilities:

Interview patients and document medical history

Take and document vital signs

Organize and schedule appointments

Send prescriptions electronically or by fax

Assist during medical examinations

Triage patient calls and consult with physicians

Prepare treatment rooms and medical instruments

Skills:

Experience as a medical assistant

Knowledge of medical office management systems

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

BLS Certification and Certified Medical Assistant

2 years of experience with EMR systems and vital signs

Ability to relocate to Arlington, TX

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, with benefits including 401(k) matching, health insurance, and paid time off. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
