Certified Industrial Hygienist - Maryland - Inspection Experts Job Board

Inspection Experts, Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) to join our team as senior technical support leader. In this role, you will be esponsible for conducting thorough environmental health and industrial hygiene investigations, studies, and evaluations. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring compliance with various standards and regulatory guidelines such as OSHA, EPA, ACGIH, ASHRAE, ANSI, NFPA and other industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments in the areas of industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental practices.
• Deliver training sessions and act as a mentor to junior and mid-level industrial hygienists.
• Conduct quality assurance tasks pertaining to environmental health and industrial hygiene investigations, studies and evaluations.
• Prepare work plans and conduct assessments related to Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Water Quality, Noise and Chemical exposure.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities in support of Environmental, Safety and Health projects as assigned by the company.

Required Qualifications:

• Possess a B.S. or M.S. degree in Industrial Hygiene, safety, or related discipline.
• Possess an active Certified Industrial Hygienist Certificate.
• Minimum of five or more years of relevant technical industrial hygiene experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain federal identification.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Occasional travel within the U.S. may be required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in the Federal government (preferred).
• Proficient computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities based on workload demands.
• Demonstrated capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
