As a CIH Consultant, you will be responsible for managing complex projects, conducting comprehensive assessments, and providing expert guidance to clients to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive industrial hygiene assessments, including exposure monitoring, risk assessments, and control evaluations.
- Develop and implement industrial hygiene programs and strategies for clients across various industries.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments for chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic hazards.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on assessment findings.
- Provide expert guidance and technical support to clients regarding regulatory compliance, hazard control, and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients on industrial hygiene topics and practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and emerging trends in industrial hygiene.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial hygiene, with a significant portion in a consulting environment.
- Masters degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial hygiene principles, practices, and regulations (e.g., OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH).
- Proven experience in conducting exposure assessments and developing control strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using industrial hygiene equipment and software.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
- Experience with a variety of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, construction, and chemical.
- Advanced certifications or training in related fields (e.g., CSP, ASP).
- Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops.
