Position Overview: Alvita Care is in search of compassionate and dedicated individuals to fill the role of Live-In Home Health Aides on Long Island. As a Live-In Home Health Aide, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to deliver continuous care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain independence and dignity within their homes.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) in New York State
• Updated medicals/vaccinations or willingness to obtain
• Completed drug screen or Habituation Form or willingness to obtain
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, driven by a genuine desire to enhance the lives of others

Responsibilities:

• Provide round-the-clock care and assistance to clients in their homes, residing with the client during scheduled shifts
• Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary preferences and restrictions
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support through meaningful interactions and activities
• Maintain detailed records of care provided and promptly communicate any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse or care team

Tasks & Duties:

• ADL's: Activities of Daily Living
• IADL's: Instrumental Activities of Daily Living
