About the Job
The Pediatric / Fetal Cardiovascular Sonographer independently performs professional level assessments and a variety of non- invasive studies using ultrasound and related diagnostic technology as appropriate and records the results and clinical preliminary impressions as indicated.
Responsibilities:- Present cases to the reading physician
- Assist with invasive procedures
- Document appropriately in the ultrasound reporting system as well as in the electronic medical record
- Assist co-workers when needed
- Re-stock supplies
- Among other duties to assist the office
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- RDMS certified in OB/GYN
- MFM experience a must
- Fetal Echo registry a plus
- Must be willing to be trained in Fetal Echo and sit for the exam
- NT Certification a plus but not necessary.
- Comfortable in a fast pace environment
- Must have good communication skills
