Desired Shift:
DAYS - 8HR: (5:30am- 2pm or 10am- 6:30pm)
Job Description:
The Manager of Dietary is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities of Dietary Dept which includes providing and nutritional and attractive means for patients and facility employees, maintaining an organized and sanitary environment, monitoring supply inventories and purchasing food and supplies as required, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies and managing effective dietary staff in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, patient care plans and appropriate regulations.
Education Requirements- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Associates Degree or Equivalent from a two year college or vocational or technical school Preferred.
*Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered (RD) Preferred. If RD, FI- Dietician Licensure is required.
**ServSafe Certification required or Equivalent Required within 90 days of hire.
Experience- Five Years Experience in Food Service, 2 Years Experience in Dietary Supervision. Experience in Healthcare Food Service Facility preferred. Must have knowledge of record keeping, menu planning, therapeutic diets and purchasing practicing.
Unit Description:
Candidates may only be submitted to one UHS job order at a time.
