Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to oversee the daily operations of our dietary department. The ideal candidate will ensure the provision of nutritious, high-quality meals, manage dietary staff, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Certified Dietary Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field, preferred
- Must have CDM
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and protocols
- Strong understanding of patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation processes
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special dietary needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
Certified Dietary Manager Job Duties:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the dietary department in an skilled nursing facility
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of residents
- Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and special dietary needs, such as tube feeding
- Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual nutritional requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized dietary plans for residents
- Monitor food production and service to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards
- Train and supervise dietary staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies, and order as needed
- Monitor budget and expenses related to the dietary department
