Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)

Responsibilities Certified Dietary Manager (CDM):

• Manage foodservice operations and ensuring food safety in the nursing home facility
• Responsible for implementation of menus, foodservice purchasing, and food preparation
• Apply nutrition principles, document nutrition information, and manage work teams
• Recruit, hire and train dietary staff to assist with meal planning and preparations
• Follow direction from the Nursing home Administrator

Qualifications Certified Dietary Manager (CDM): 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• CDM Certification necessary
• Previous LTC/SNF experience preferred
• Serious applicants 
• Interest in the geriatric population
