YORK Orthopedic Recovery is a private practice sports medicine clinic located in Modesto, California. This woman-owned and operated business was established in 2018 as a single trainer mobile clinic. Since that time, it has grown into an established private practice offering both a non-traditional sports medicine clinic and on-site corporate wellness proudly serving public safety agencies in the surrounding community.

Currently seeking a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist to help bridge the gap in healthcare by helping others overcome injuries and illnesses through conservative wellness measures in a private practice sports medicine clinic based in Modesto CA.

In this role you will:

• Collaborate with a supportive Athletic Training Staff and non-traditional staff.
• Provide assistance in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, worksite wellness, recovery-based treatments and modalities.
• Hybrid role in both a non-traditional clinic providing athletic training services and worksite wellness care.
• Organize comprehensive health and treatment plans for multiple job functions & orthopedic injuries.
• Perform general health and orthopedic evaluations, treatments, and rehabilitation services.
• Work with adults at worksite wellness locations and varied populations within our clinic, including athletes.
• Use innovative, creative solutions and employee empowerment to design and implement ergonomic interventions.
• Be a competent, skilled, confident, and engaging Certified Athletic Trainer who will work at one of our healthcare facilities.
• Develop and implement site-specific wellness initiatives and programs.
• Perform data analysis and execute administrative tasks including, but not limited to, collection of data, completion of forms, documenting patient files, and generating reports for return on investment and budgets.
• Create an environment of trust and care, allowing workers to take responsibility to reduce or eliminate actions under their control that contribute to injury and illness.
• Help record, brainstorm, and create social media campaigns.

Must be certified in CPR/First Aid/ AED for Healthcare Providers, willing to travel to various corporate wellness locations, have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees.

We prefer candidates with a minimum of two (2) years of athletic training experience, with previous ergonomic/occupational health experience, knowledge of OSHA Recordability and worker’s compensation, CEAS/OSHA 10 certification and proficient with Microsoft Office
