Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise is excited to partner with Nashua North and Nashua South High Schools to provide athletic training services for student athletes. We are urgently hiring for the upcoming fall sports season and are seeking motivated Athletic Trainers to join our growing sports medicine team!
About the Role:
The Athletic Trainer will be working alongside medical professionals, coaches, and athletes to review medical conditions of athletes and develop plans to meet athlete goals. This includes prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning; organization and administration; and professional responsibility.
What You'll Do:
- Apply protective or injury-preventive devices, such as tape, bandages, and braces
- Recognize and evaluate injuries at assigned affiliate or clinic and provide first aid or emergency care to injured athletes/patients
- Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes and plan and implement comprehensive programs to prevent future injury and illnesses with athletes
- Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate records of injuries and writing reports on injuries and treatment programs following company documentation protocols.
- Maintain communications with internal and external partners with regards to the progress of the injured athlete as well as informing of CPTE services and locations for continuum of care.
About you:
- Bachelor's or master's degree graduate from an Accredited CAATE Program
- BOC Certified
- Licensed in NH as an Athletic Trainer
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Valid Driver's License
