Responsibilities
Provide daily coordination of equipment, supplies and personnel to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
+ Organize and evaluate the work of assigned anesthesia service associates.
+ Provide oversight of daily equipment maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
+ Assist with the training and scheduling of staff.
+ Coordinate and/or perform administrative duties specific to the unit including billing processing, scheduling, ordering supplies and responding to external inquiries.
+ Assist the department manager with payroll, scheduling, education of department staff, budget and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
+ Anesthesia Tech credentialed from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians/Technologists (ASATT) preferred.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
+ Anesthesia Tech credentialed from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians/Technologists (ASATT) strongly preferred.
