PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Receptionist’s primary responsibility is to answer the phone and greet all incoming visitors and assure they are directed to the appropriate person. This position is a nonexempt full-time hourly position in the Operations Ministry and reports first to the Project Director and then to the Operations Pastor.
Essential Duties:
- Give Ministry Away
- Answer all incoming lines for all campuses and directs to the appropriate person
- Greet all incoming visitors and assures their questions or needs are addressed
- Monitor emails from the Northview info email box and respond as appropriate or forward to appropriate person
- Process and distribute all outgoing and incoming mail and deliveries
- Record & communicate receipt of deliveries to respective receivers
- Reserve meeting space in central offices, as needed
- Build and maintain a cross-trained reception volunteer team
- Work in tandem with Binford Campus Ministry Assistant for consistent coverage of main desk
- Coordinate and prepare items for the weekly courier service between campuses
- Support the Safety and Security Director with projects
- Maintain Northview job board
- Maintain and organize office supplies stock for Central staff, including stamps and postage machine supplies
- Maintain Central kitchen by ordering supplies, stocking, and tidying, as needed
- Various attendance tracking and reports
- Respond to emails and voicemails within 24 hours
As Needed Duties:
- Support Operations Pastor with projects as requested
- Order office supplies and maintain work room
- Distribute benevolence assistance applications and other standard documents
- Coordinate receptionist desk coverage for scheduled vacations
- Attend meetings as needed
- Support with short term projects as needed
- Keep main entry clear of debris, clutter, and organized
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position works with volunteers and must have an understanding that volunteers are key to the ministry of the church. The employee must have a heart to recruit, train, equip and support volunteers in fulfilling their roles.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree plus one to three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience would be in Administrative/Clerical Support and handling a multiline phone system.
