Project Manager
Position Summary
Provide project management services at the KC North America, business unit and functional levels, in addition to providing functional supply chain and operations expertise to these activities. The position requires the ability to provide leadership, coordination and direction to ensure the successful delivery of projects by facilitating across functions and disciplines..
Key Accountabilities
Provide Project Management services for the implementation and commercialization of KC projects. Project types may include manufacturing capacity/expansions, innovation, cost savings, safety, quality, replacement, and business continuity. Projects maybe be capital or non-capital and may be manufactured internally or externally to KC.
Accountable for projects to achieve the desired outcome in terms of scope, schedule, cost, financial success criteria, and quality expectations.
Follows Project Management Best Practices, including, but not limited to, chartering, interactive planning sessions, timeline management, risk management, and status report-outs.
Coordinates the development and presentation of business cases proposals to facilitate project stage/gate approvals and/or capital authorization.
Conduct leadership project reviews and status updates including escalation of roadblocks. Remove barriers for project teams through effective decision analysis and influencing upward.
Act as key liaison to plant teams relative to project execution plans (as applicable).
Ensure accuracy of capital forecasts for projects when in the planned phase.
Provides supply chain functional expertise for projects and completes supply chain assessments for projects to properly dimension risks and costs.
Lead by example and model core values in all actions; ensure a positive, respectful team environment, fostering collaboration and development.
Must be able to balance multiple projects at a time in dynamic work environment and flexible to take on new or different assignments if priorities change.

Reports to Associate Director of the Project Management Office or PMO Team Leader
Required (essential for the job):
Bachelors Degree
7-10 years of experience in increasingly broader technical, operational, or supply chain roles with a demonstrated track record of achievement and growth in leadership
Preferred (not essential, but desired):
Previous experience working for a global, highly matrixed, Consumer Packaged Goods company
Manufacturing and/or supply chain experience
Experience coordinating a cross functional team to achieve a goal
Prior experience that required influencing leaders outside of administrative authority
Basic P&L understanding and business case development
Strong communication skills
