Grocery Store – Center Store Manager

We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Center Store Manager at our location. In this role, you will take command of our center store operations, overseeing the departments of grocery, dairy, frozen foods, and beer & wine.

Salary Range: $20 - $24 per hour / 47 hour work week

Job Qualifications:

•        High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

•        Minimum of 2 years of experience in grocery retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

•        Strong understanding of inventory management, merchandising principles, and customer service.

•        Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

•        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

•        Ability to lift more than 40lbs. boxes.

Job Responsibilities:

As the Center Store Manager, you will have a direct influence on the customer's shopping experience. You will:

•        Manage inventory: Ensure stock levels meet customer demands while limiting wastage.

•        Implement effective merchandising strategies: Create visually appealing product displays to drive sales.

•        Ensure accurate pricing: Implement and maintain accurate pricing for all products in the center store departments.

•        Lead the team: Supervise, train, and coach the center store team to maximize performance.

•        Deliver excellent customer service: Provide exceptional service and address customer inquiries promptly and effectively.

•        Drive sales and profitability: Achieve sales goals and maximize profitability through effective merchandising, pricing, and inventory control.

•        Ensure department maintenance and safety: Keep the center store departments clean, organized, and well-maintained.
