Overview
The ideal candidate will bring a strong clinical background and management experience in health, wellness, and fitness services, particularly in overseeing therapy and rehabilitation services for a team of physical therapists. This position requires a hands-on manager who is passionate about fostering a positive client experience, enhancing team performance, and driving successful outcomes for the center.
Core Leadership Responsibilities:&
Cultivate a Positive Work Environment:
Foster a workplace that aligns with the company’s mission and vision, promoting high team morale to maximize job satisfaction and improve retention.
Employee Relations and Compliance:
Manage employee relations issues and ensure compliance with Human Resources policies and procedures; collaborate with Human Resources as needed.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
Assist in creating the center’s fiscal budget, and maintain accountability for center profitability by interpreting financial statements and performance metrics, developing strategic plans to address areas for improvement.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Support the development and implementation of center-specific strategic plans, including marketing and sales efforts for referral growth. Oversee center staff participation to ensure objectives are met.
Physician and Payer Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and payers; coordinate the rollout of clinical specialty programs as requested by clients.
Staff Management and Accountability:
Lead Aide staff to provide exceptional customer service and patient scheduling. Ensure clinical team delivers high-quality care, facilitating skills development and recognizing staff achievements.
Efficient Caseload Management:
Oversee caseload management through available reports, ensuring optimal productivity and appropriate staffing levels in collaboration with market leaders.
Training and Program Implementation:
Conduct orientation and training for staff to ensure the effective implementation of clinical programs and operational objectives.
Hiring and Scheduling:
Identify open positions and work with MCO/COD to hire qualified clinical staff. Organize daily schedules to maintain optimal patient care.
Performance Reviews and Staff Development:
Conduct timely and accurate performance reviews, focusing on achievable development goals and continuous improvement.
PTO and Payroll Management:
Approve and manage time-off requests, and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for assigned team members.
Clinic Appearance and Maintenance:
Ensure the clinic’s cleanliness and appearance are maintained at all times.
Regular Team Meetings:
Actively participate in bi-weekly CM/COD meetings, preparing and presenting relevant agenda items.
Cost-Effective Ordering:
Approve supply requests, ensuring effective cost management of resources and equipment.
Qualifications:
Education Licensure:
Graduation from an accredited physical therapist education program and current state licensure or registration.
Clinical Expertise:
Demonstrated expertise in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
Leadership Communication:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Tech Proficiency:
Proficient in relevant software for clinical documentation and reporting.
