The Center Director of Operations works under the direction of the RVP/VP to lead assigned center in daily operations that align with performance, clinical quality, compliance, and financial indicators for all services within the identified book of business.
Supervises: Lead Therapists, BCBAs, Front Desk Coordinator, any other positions in the center
Reports to: Regional Vice President
Salary Range: $86,000 - $95,000

Responsibilities:Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily leadership demonstration of behaviors and decisions that reflect the mission, core values, vision and culture of the organization.
- Patient Care Time:
- Less than 100 clinic billable hours/week: 75% PCT
- 100-199 clinical billable hours/week: 50% PCT
- 200-299 clinical billable hours/week: 25% PCT
- 300+ clinic billable hours/week: 0% PCT
- Provide coverage as needed for short term absences or provider shortages.
- Sets expectations for performance, compliance and quality standards
- Provides support related to quality of documentation and timely completion
- Cultivates a high performing team across all center services to achieve identified standards on a consistent basis
- Analyze weekly metrics to support and coach team, problem solving barriers and providing solutions for performance improvement
- Supervises the Lead Therapists to ensure quality and performance standards are consistently demonstrated
- Meet with lead team on a weekly to review KPIs and strategies solutions to barrier
- Responsible for Clinic P&L and achieving/exceeding budget performance
- Adheres to, implements, and maintains organization policies and procedures
- Delivers any necessary corrective action or performance improvement plan
- Leads needed service delivery changes in response to monthly metrics reports
- Ensures a safe, clean and engaging physical space
- Approves all expenses, purchasing of therapist supplies/ equipment
- Maintains and completes required compliance checks timely and as instructed
- Represents the organization in all external stakeholder events
- Independently identifies, resolves and /or manages out to RVP problem areas that impede center achievement of goals and communicates success based on center performance
- Reports on overall quality of care, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and practice standards
- Responsible for accurately reporting utilization, quality and financial metrics
- Accountable for operational triggers for identifying and communicating needs for hiring clinical and admin staff
- Collaborates with leadership for program and business development
- Collaborate with BD team to grow referral partners through strategic initiatives and programming
- Collaborates with School and/or Early Intervention Leads (when applicable) to meet the needs of the business and provide opportunities for therapists across settings.
- Collaborates with leadership of all disciplines to develop and maintain group programming
- Collaborates with other Center Directors in the region to standardize practices across centers
- Oversees initial and ongoing training and promotes professional development and growth across all members of the team
- Clinical Orientation for all therapists and communication with appropriate lead regarding on the job training, shadowing and specific service line orientation
- Provides support related to continuing education for team
- Collaborates with the RVP/VP to ensure quality and relevant training for all team members and on-boarding of new staff.
- Promotes employee engagement
- Supports mentor-ship of new employees
- Facilitates all staff weekly/ monthly meetings and morale boosting activities

- Ability to remain calm in crisis situations and respond efficiently
Qualifications and Experience:
- Required: Master’s Degree or PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, education or another related field
- Required: CURRENT AND ACTIVE with Board Certification and state licensure if applicable per state in specific discipline
- Required: Experience working with children ages 0-18 implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology
- Required: 3-5 years working with children with developmental disabilities
- Preferred: Experience working in a leadership role among a team of clinical peers, reporting on clinical and operational KPIs
