Join us. **Job Description** AECOM is actively hiring an experienced **CEI Senior Construction Inspector** to support projects located within the **Gardendale, Alabama Area.** **Responsibilities:** * Supervising daily activities and assignments of inspection staff * Conduct Progress Meeting with theContractor * Oversee and perform field inspections to monitor road conditions, bridges, road construction, traffic, and material used in road construction and repair * Reviews construction, maintenance, or traffic projects for compliance with project specifications and plans * Monitors contract performance and project status for major construction and maintenance projects * Maintains records and prepares reports relating to public works installations and projects * Compile quantities and review construction reports and other data **Qualifications** **Minimum:** + High School Diploma plus 4 years of related CEI inspection or related field experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction + Valid U.S Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review **Preferred:** + Bridge and highway CEI senior inspection experience + Experience monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties + Field inspections, inspection records experience + Skilled in properly executing contract documents, drawings and specifications + Ability to write and review contract change orders + A working knowledge and ability to review a CPM Schedule + Ability to read and understand construction drawings and the knowledge to be able to conduct constructability reviews **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
