Job Title: CDP Architect
Location: Portland, OR (Onsite)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture and Strategy:
- Develop and lead the implementation of data architectures that leverage the capabilities of a Customer Data Platform (CDP) especially Amperity
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Design data strategies that address data integration, identity resolution, data quality, and data governance.
- CDP Implementation:
- Guide the implementation of the CDP platform, including data onboarding, configuration, and testing.
- Ensure seamless integration of the CDP with other marketing technologies and systems.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the CDP implementation.
- Customer Success:
- Educate clients and internal stakeholders on best practices for utilizing the CDP to achieve their marketing goals.
- Monitor and analyze CDP performance to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Proactively identify and address potential challenges.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of data warehousing, data integration, and data modeling principles.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data quality tools.
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and other relevant technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with CDP platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with AI/ML techniques and their application to customer data.
- Knowledge of specific industries or verticals.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Key Skills:
- Data Modeling and Architecture: Designing and implementing data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Data Integration: Integrating data from various sources, including CRM, marketing automation, website analytics, and social media.
- Identity Resolution: Matching and linking customer data across different channels and devices.
- Data Quality: Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of customer data.
- Data Governance: Establishing and enforcing data policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in SQL, scripting languages (Python, R), and data visualization tools.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
